Abraxane Side Effects

Nerve pain or unusual sensations, neutropenia, and hair loss are the most common side effects reported by people using Abraxane. Side effects that occur rarely but are more serious include irregular heart rhythm, severe mouth sores, blood in the stool, or signs of an infection. If you develop any of these serious Abraxane side effects, seek medical attention immediately.

Abraxane Side Effects: An Introduction

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Abraxane® (protein-bound paclitaxel); however, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate Abraxane quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
