Aredia® is a medicine that is licensed for the prevention of bone damage caused by multiple myeloma or breast cancer and the treatment of Paget's disease and high blood calcium due to cancer. It is only available by prescription, and it is given through IV by a healthcare provider. While most people tolerate Aredia well, potential side effects include nausea, anemia, and fever.
