Breast Canser

Were you looking for information about Breast Cancer? Breast canser is a common misspelling of breast cancer.

Breast cancer is a condition characterized by abnormal cell growth in the breast tissue. The disease is more common in women, but it can affect men, too. While the exact causes of the condition are unknown, a family history of the disease and denser-than-normal breast tissue are possible risk factors. Fortunately, if breast cancer is diagnosed and treated early, most women go on to resume healthy, active lives -- although there is a risk of the cancer recurring.

(Click Breast Cancer for an in-depth look at the condition, including an explanation of breast anatomy, how the cancer progresses, types and stages of breast cancer, treatment options, and more.)
