Different Types of Breast Cancer

Although there are several different types of breast cancer, in general, they fall into one of two categories: invasive and noninvasive. "Invasive" means the cancer has spread to surrounding tissue, and "noninvasive" means the disease has not yet spread. Within these two categories are other forms of breast cancer, such as:
