Docefrez Chemotherapy Information

DocefrezTM (docetaxel) is a medicine approved to treat the following types of cancer:
 
This medication is given slowly into a vein using an intravenous (IV) infusion. A healthcare provider will administer the medicine in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital. This chemotherapy drug is usually given once every three weeks.
 
Docefrez is specifically approved for use in adults. Before starting chemotherapy with this drug, make sure to review the safety information on Docefrez with your healthcare provider. You may not be able to use it if you have certain allergies or if you are taking certain medications. Possible side effects of Docefrez include fluid retention, weakness, and low levels of white blood cells.
