You should not take cyclophosphamide if you:
 
  • Are allergic to cyclophosphamide, Cytoxan, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have severe bone marrow depression (a decreased ability of your bone marrow to make blood cells).
