Docefrez Overdose

Treatment Options for a Docefrez Overdose

The treatment for a Docefrez overdose may vary. A granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) medication, such as filgrastim (Neupogen®), may be given. These medicines stimulate the bone marrow to make more white blood cells, which could reduce the risk of infection from an overdose.

Treatment will also involve supportive care, which consists of treating the symptoms that occur as a result of the overdose. For example, medications may be given to treat fluid retention if edema occurs.

It is important that you seek medical attention immediately if you believe that you or someone else may have used too much of this medication.
