Serious Side Effects

Some side effects of Docefrez are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Signs of an infection, such as:
 
 
  • Severe redness, blistering, itching, or peeling of the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, or any other area of the skin
  • Persistent or severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • Severe mouth sores or ulcers (see Mouth and Gum Problems During Chemotherapy)
  • Reactions while receiving your infusion, such as:
 
    • Swelling
    • Redness
    • Tenderness
    • Warmth
    • Dryness of the skin
 
  • Unusual bleeding or bruising
  • Black, tarry, or bloody stools
  • Swelling of the arms, hands, legs, ankles, or feet
  • Shortness of breath
  • A sudden, unexplained weight gain
  • Yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes (jaundice)
  • Muscle aches
  • Numbness, tingling, pricking, or painful sensations of the hands or feet
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
 
    • An unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Sudden redness of the face or neck
    • Chills
    • Unexplained swelling, especially of the mouth, lips, or throat
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing or swallowing.
