Herceptin Strengths

Herceptin® (trastuzumab) is a medicine approved for use in people who have certain types of breast cancer or stomach cancer. It is administered intravenously (by IV) every seven days or every three weeks, depending on your dosing regimen. There is only one available strength of Herceptin, which comes in vials containing 440 mg of dry powdered Herceptin. It must be mixed and diluted prior to use.
There are several different dosing regimens for Herceptin. Your healthcare provider will carefully choose an appropriate dosage based on several factors, such as your weight, the severity of your cancer, and the other treatments you have tried or are currently taking.
