Breast Cancer Home > Femera vs. Clomid

Were you looking for information on Clomid vs. Femara? Femera vs. Clomid is a common misspelling of Femara vs. Clomid.
When comparing Femara® vs. Clomid® in the treatment of infertility, both medications appear equally successful at causing ovulation. However, some healthcare providers hesitate to prescribe Femara (letrozole), since Clomid (clomiphene citrate) has been studied for a longer period and is available in generic form. If a woman has not ovulated while taking Clomid, Femara may be prescribed. Also, Femara may be less likely than Clomid to have negative effects on the cervix and uterus.
(Click Clomid vs. Femara for a detailed comparison of these two drugs for the treatment of infertility, including a discussion of the results of research studies.)
