Xeloda® (capecitabine) is a medication used to treat breast cancer and colorectal cancer (cancer of the colon or rectum). It comes in tablet form and is taken within 30 minutes after a meal. Xeloda is a unique chemotherapy medication, as it is taken orally rather than intravenously.
Xeloda tablets are available in two strengths:
  • 150 mg
  • 500 mg.
This medication is taken every day for two weeks, followed by a one-week break.
