Tamoxifen 10 Mg Tablets

If you have breast cancer or want to prevent it, your healthcare provider may prescribe tamoxifen citrate (Nolvadex^®). There are two strengths available for tamoxifen tablets -- 10 mg and 20 mg. There is also a liquid form available (Soltamox™ oral solution).

 

Your dosage will be based on several factors, such as whether you are using the medication to treat or prevent breast cancer, the severity of your breast cancer, and other medications you are taking. The recommended dose of tamoxifen for treating breast cancer is tamoxifen 20 mg to 40 mg daily. Doses larger than 20 mg per day should be split up into two smaller doses.
