A few common side effects of Taxotere^® (docetaxel) include hair loss, anemia, and low levels of certain white blood cells. Most people tolerate the medication well and when side effects do occur, in many cases, they are minor and easily treated. However, there are a number of Taxotere side effects that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider, including blood in the stool, severe mouth sores, and severe vomiting or diarrhea. You should also let your healthcare provider know if you experience anything that "just does not seem right" while taking this medication.
